Bruce Griffin Henderson is a writer and recording artist. He is the author of Waiting (Plume 1995), a non-fiction book about waiters and waitresses, and was a contributor to Gig (Crown 2000) a non-fiction book about Americans and their jobs. Lucky King, published in 2021, is his first novel. 

Bruce has recorded numerous albums and singles for US and international labels (released as Bruce Henderson), and his songs have been recorded by various artists including Curtis Stigers, Christine Ohlman, and The Hangdogs.

Bruce lives in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal with his wife Meghan.
